Curriculum at a Glance

Students in kindergarten receive instruction in religion, readiness activities in handwriting, mathematics, and reading, as well as language arts, science, social studies, art, music and physical education. Language Arts takes a literature based approach, with poetry, songs and journal writing. Math is a very hands-on activity based curriculum to develop strong mathematical thinking. Religion incorporates the daily teaching of our Catholic faith and traditions, including participation in Mass and caring for our community. Finally, all subjects incorporate the Hands-on Learning Center as well as the use of IPads and Active Boards. Classes are both self-contained by homeroom groups and departmental.
